Short version: this website has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not collect personal information from visitors. Our publishing app touches only our own social media accounts — never yours.
1. Scope
This policy covers ciphergaming.tv andCipher Gaming Studio, the internal application we use to publish our own videos to our own social media accounts and to read back how those videos performed.
2. What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics or tracking scripts, no advertising, and no third-party embeds that profile you.
If you choose a colour theme, that preference is saved in your own browser using localStorage. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — including IP address, timestamp, and user agent — to serve pages and protect against abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not receive, store, or analyse those logs.
3. What the publishing app does
Cipher Gaming Studio authenticates against social media platforms (including TikTok and YouTube) using OAuth, with permission granted by us, for our own channel. It is used to:
- upload video files we produced to our own accounts;
- set the title, description, and privacy settings of those uploads;
- read back aggregate statistics for our own videos — view, like, comment, and share counts.
It does not read, collect, or store other people's personal information. It does not access other users' accounts, private messages, contacts, or viewing history. The access tokens it uses are stored on our own equipment, are never shared, and can be revoked at any time from the relevant platform's account settings.
4. Comments and interactions on platforms
When you comment on or interact with our videos, that happens on the platform — YouTube or TikTok — and is governed by that platform's privacy policy, not this one. We see comments as any channel owner does, and we moderate them for safety. We do not export, sell, or compile viewer data.
5. Children's privacy
Cipher Gaming is a family channel and our content is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website, because this website does not collect personal information from anyone.
We deliberately publish our young streamer under a persona rather than a real name. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us through any channel, contact us at contact@ciphergamer.com and we will remove it.
6. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties involved are our web host and the social platforms we publish to, each acting under their own policies.
7. Retention
Because the website collects no personal information, there is nothing to retain. Authentication tokens for our own accounts are kept only while the integration is in use and are deleted when it is retired or revoked.
8. Your choices
You can browse this site without providing anything. To remove a comment you left on one of our videos, delete it on the platform or ask us and we will remove it. For questions, corrections, or removal requests, email contact@ciphergamer.com.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the version and date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
